Street Scene with Snow (57th Street, NYC.) (1902), Robert Henri
This is 57th Street in 1902, painted by Robert Henri, whose Ashcan School work depicted a moody New York in all of its grit and glory.
The cross street with the elevated train may be Sixth Avenue. It would have been close to the Art Students League, where Henri taught.
Available as a fine art print and as a stretched canvas panel (heavy fine art canvas stretched over 1.5 inch deep edge solid wood frame).
All prints are made using archival art stocks and UV pigment inks to give up to 200 years life. Prints are sold unframed and unmounted.
