- 🖼️ He exhibited his work in Berlin and gained recognition for his lithographs and engravings.
- 🌍 Kleinschmidt faced political repression in Germany, leading him to emigrate to the Netherlands and later to France.
- ⛓️ He was briefly taken prisoner during World War II but was released after the French capitulation.
- 🚫 Kleinschmidt was forced to stop painting by the Nazis in 1943.
