Polished Antique Brass Lion’s Head Door Knocker
A classic lion’s head door knocker in solid brass with an aged, unlaquered finish. The lion holds the striker between his teeth with the aged finish highlighting the beautiful detail. A similar design to the one found on door of number 10 Downing Street! Lion heads became particularity popular in the early 19th Century though have continued to appear in a variety of forms for two centuries.
