Cream Crackle Ceramic Escutcheon
A classic ceramic escutcheon in a crackle glazed finish. These simple Victorian style key hole cover come with a pressed brass backplate and are from the same range as our ceramic door knobs. Ceramic door furniture was popular for almost a century, first appearing around 1830. This style was widely used in Victorian homes upstairs, in servant quarters and in less grand properties due to being more affordable than brass.
