Boys swimming at a rocky coast (1899) by William Pratt
William Pratt was a versatile Scottish painter of portraits, landscapes and marines. He studied at the Glasgow School of Art and Academie Julien. Exhibited at: the Royal Academy; Paris Salon Royal Academy; Royal Scottish Academy; Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour; Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts and; the Aberdeen Artists’ Society. Today his paintings can be seen at the Ulster Museum, Paisley Museum and Art Galleries, Paisley Art Instiitute Collection, and Auld Kirk Museum.
