- 💡 Maximilian Franz Viktor Zdenko Marie Kurzweil was an Austrian painter and printmaker.
- 🎨 Kurzweil studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and the Académie Julian in Paris.
- 🏛️ He co-founded the Vienna Secession in 1897 and was an editor of the Secessionist magazine Ver Sacrum.
- 📚 Kurzweil was a professor at the Frauenkunstschule and received the Villa Romana prize in 1905.
- 🖼️ His later works were influenced by Edvard Munch and Ferdinand Hodler.
- 😢 Kurzweil tragically committed suicide in 1916 due to personal circumstances.
